1.version

os: centos 7.2
nginx: nginx-1.13.9
metricbeat: metricbeat-6.2.4

2.download

#wget https://artifacts.elastic.co/downloads/beats/metricbeat/metricbeat-6.2.4-x86_64.rpm

3.install

#rpm -ivh metricbeat-6.2.4-x86_64.rpm

4.config

Metricbeat:
#metricbeat modules enable nginx
nginx.yml
- module: nginx
 metricsets: ["stubstatus"]
 period: 10s

 # Nginx hosts
 hosts: ["http://127.0.0.1"]

 # Path to server status. Default server-status
 server_status_path: "basic_status" #According to the situation，and depending
 
Nginx: (nginx need to compile install)
requried module: --with-http_stub_status_module
  
nginx.conf:
  
  location /basic_status {
    stub_status;
    access_log off;
    allow 127.0.0.1;
    deny all;
  }

5.start

service metricbeat start
